Developers - Will they develop a sense of urgency

The iron is hot, the SDK is ready.

According to the Wall Street Journal it looks like T-Mobile will be betting on Google Android in the near future. GPhone here we come!

Hopefully developers are going to take advantage of this opportunity and get a head start on building apps. I look forward to seeing how this will affect current RIA's. Will they expend the manpower to convert and connect some of their existing apps?
